Welcome back Claxton families,
and for those who are new to our school community, we’re sure glad you are
here! The PTA has many wonderful
programs and services planned for this school year. Look for improvements in our character
education program, fun promotions in our Box Top collection program, and
Skate Night has been moved to the 3rd Thursday of every month this year.
In addition, the school itself
will be putting on many wonderful events to celebrate Claxton’s 50th
year! These will include fun events
for the whole family, and educational activities tied into classroom
learning.
The PTA needs your support
with our NEW fundraiser. We will be
doing our first ever Donation Drive where 100% of the money raised goes
directly into supporting PTA programs.
We have hundreds of wonderful prizes to give away, so please
consider Claxton in your charitable giving starting on September 20th.
Lastly, we are always in need
of wonderful volunteers. Please make
sure you (and any family members) join the PTA this year. Each membership is only $5.00. We have many wonderful opportunities for
you to serve our school whether you want to help on a committee, chair a
committee, send in items, or tutor in a classroom.
If we can be of assistance to
you, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are excited about leading such a wonderful team of volunteers,
and stellar group of families in a very successful school year.
