What can you do to help your child prepare for EOGs?

EOGs can be stressful for students but you can help them feel confident and prepared. Here are a few things that will help your child prepare for EOGS:
  • Get plenty of rest.
  • Eat a good breakfast.
  • Arrive at school on time.
  • Minimize extra curricular activities during test week to reduce stress.
  • Wake up a little early on test day to ensure a calm, stress free morning.
  • Show them encouragement with a big hug and tell them you have confidence in them!
Breakfast for Test Takers

Claxton Stars will recognize long-time crossing guard and friend to many, "Mr. Ron", with a hero's walk through the halls at Claxton on Monday, June 12. He will be leaving us at the end of this school year and we want to make sure he knows how much we will miss him!

If you'd like to contribute to a commemorative gift or be there to help celebrate his long service, please get in touch with Karen Hairston.
A Special Claxton Farewell to Mr. Wells!
