We encourage every parent to volunteer if you can spare the time.  Find a committee that interests you and sign up!  Want more action? Chair a committee or co-chair it with a friend, become a room parent, join us for our annual Fun Run, bring your child to Skate Night or attend a PTA meeting!

View current Board List.

The Claxton Elementary PTA is divided into four major categories: Executive Board, Education Committees, Service Committees, and Ways and Means Committees.  Each committee is headed by a chairperson (or two co-chairperson) and is made up of volunteers who have an interest in that committee’s mission.

What follows is a listing of those committees, what they do, and when they are needed. Some perform services all year, some only for a short, specified time. If you are interested in any of these committees, please contact anyone in the PTA or call the chairman for that committee.

It is amazing how one person can make a difference.  We at Claxton encourage you to make a difference in your child’s life.  Volunteer.
