Jump Rope for Heart 2012
Did you know that Heart Disease is the #2 cause of death among children under the age of 15? Roughly 8.8 million children in the US ages 6-19 are overweight or obese.
This month, Claxton students will be able to do their part to support the American Heart Association combat this deadly disease. Students will be asking friends and family to sponsor them to jump rope during their regular Physical Education class time. Money can be collected in person or online by setting up their own personalized website.
5th Annual Dad's Breakfast
The Claxton PTA would like to invite EVERY CHILD at Claxton to bring the important male in their life to the cafeteria for breakfast! Dads, uncles, grandpas, neighbors... if he is an important man in a Claston child's life we want him to come along.
